Iceland Sea Angling offers houses and apartments in two different towns, all located in the lovely Westfjords. Bolungarvík and Súðavík are both popular destinations among locals and visitors alike. Located near beautiful and rich fishing grounds, these cute villages are the perfect base for sea angling.

Súðavík


Súðavík is a charming fishing village with a population around 200 people only a few minutes’ drive from Ísafjörður, Westfjord’s largest town. Till this day, fishing is what life is about in Súðavík. It’s a popular destination among sea anglers, hikers and other lovers of nature. The town is home to the excellent Arctic Fox Center. Here you will also find restaurants, a café and a grocery store. Iceland Sea Angling operates 12 houses in total in Súðavík.

Bolungarvík


Bolungarvik is a fishing village located at the Vestfirðir peninsula, 14 kilometres from the town of Ísafjörður and 473 km from Reykjavík. It is one of Iceland’s oldest fishing outposts, well positioned close to abundant fishing grounds. The quiet countryside attracts some tourists, mainly in summer. Here you‘ll find bars and restaurants, a swimming pool, a National History Museum and a Maritime Museum, among other things. The surroundings of Bolungarvík are a quite popular destinations for hiking, horse riding and birdwatching.

All our vacation homes are furnished to meet your needs. Varying in sizes, we can accommodate both large and small groups. The Westfjords and Snæfellsnes peninsula are truly unique areas, with plenty of places activities to explore. And most importantly: all our kitchens are fully equipped to cook freshly-caught fish!
